One of the beautiful Mitzvot and traditions of Purim is gifting holiday basket filled with food and treats to our friends, neighbors and members of our community. This gift basket is commonly known as Mishloach Manot, or Shalach Manos.
Join our community's Mishloach Manot Project: This year, holiday gift basket will be delivered to the friends, community members of supporters of the Jewish Life Center, Cong. Sha'arei Israel-Chabad of Raleigh! Recipients will also receive a holiday card wishing a Happy Purim featuring the the names of all those contributing to this project.
With a $36 donation, you can include your family in our Mishloach Manot Project, be a part of this wonderful Mitzvah, and bring the joy of Purim to the greater Raleigh Jewish Community!
Greater donor opportunities are encouraged as well, and donors will be recognized on the community holiday card according to their donation tier.
Our holiday cards will be printed on March 10th. For your name to be included, be sure to donate by March 9th!
Contributions following March 9th will still be used to support this project, however we will be unable to include your name.
***A portion of all proceeds will also be allotted to charity funds to support local families in need this holiday, as well as a charity in Israel. The Mitzvah of Tzedakah, known as Matanot LaEvyonim, or Gifts to the Needy, is also one of the essential Mitzvot of the Purim holiday!
