The mission of our Hebrew School is to provide and promote the highest quality after-school Judaic education to a diverse community of Jewish children. Our aim is to nurture and build the foundation of your child's Jewish identity through our interdisciplinary educational approach. The focus of our dedicated teachers is to inspire a two-fold love – a love for learning and a love for Judaism – while fostering a feeling of familiarity with their heritage. A well-balanced Hebrew school education which includes Tefillah (prayer), Hebrew reading and language, Jewish holidays and mitzvot (commandments) will instill a commitment to using timeless Jewish values as a guide to the decisions of life, community, and life-long learning and teaching.
The future of Judaism always has and always will be dependent on the children. This is why we at Chabad Of Raleigh put so much energy and resources into our Hebrew School. The children are given a solid foundation of knowledge and love for judaism, on which they can build a lifetime. Through fun and interactive games and stories, the children learn the history and beauty of the Jewish people, and our special relationship with G-D. We imbue our students with a pride and sense of individuality in being a Jewish kid, giving them the tools to lead a Jewish life. All Jewish children are accepted in our program no matter what background or religious affiliation they may be from.
