Congregation Sha'arei Israel 

shaarei israel aaronCongregation Sha'arei Israel of Raleigh North Carolina was founded in 1979. The synagogue affiliates with the Orthodox Union and Chabad-Lubavitch. The members come from diverse backgrounds, creating an inviting atmosphere for Jews from all walks of life and levels of Jewish practice.

Our service is refreshingly casual and easy to follow. The English-Hebrew Prayer Book, along with song and commentary, makes everyone a participant

Congregation Sha'arei Israel welcomes Jews from all backgrounds to participate in any way they feel comfortable. In a non-judgmental way, the synagogue facilitates the spiritual growth of each individual. The synagogue tries to provide Special Projects to help facilitate participation in shul activities.

Congregation Sha'arei Israel offers twice-daily prayer services each week day, along with Shabbat and holiday services.
